I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2021
Interview
The process had an online coding assessment and 2 interview rounds.
Coding assessment was done on CodeSignal. It was flexible on how you could answer the questions. SQL wasn't necessarily required as Excel sheets were provided and you could figure out how to answer the questions in whichever method you were comfortable with.
In the first interview round, I was given a mini case study and a tech fit. This lasted about an hour.
In the second round, I had 4 one-hour interviews. 1 behavioural, 2 case studies, and 1 tech fit.

Interview
I submitted my resume online. Before speaking with anyone, I was sent a link to take an assessment of my skills. The assessment itself wasn't too difficult. However, all the prep available wasn't helpful. Also, the environment of the assessment and the time allowed to complete it proved challenging. It did not simulate a real work environment with multiple screens and time to digest the schema and/or data definitions to come up with the most efficient way to gain insight. Further, the questions were very verbose. I spent a lot of time just re-reading them to figure out what was being asked.
Started off by submitting resume on website and received interview request about a month later. Interview consisted of 2 business case interviews and behavioral interviews, including typical case interview frameworks and mental math problems. Behavioral questions were just basic behavioral questions.
