Bloomberg interview questions

I was contacted by a recruiter after applying online at Career builder (I believe). He sent me a bunch of information to read through to prepare for the technical portion of the interview, though I never made it that far. He set up a time for the first round of phone interviews. I was asked some rather general programming questions. Things seemed to go well, but I received an email a few dats later saying thanks but no thanks.

There was a brief introduction of a company+ the group interview. Then they interviewed us separately, 2-3 people one after another. The questions were what we knew about the company, the main competitors, then questions about the financial markets, e.g. bonds, yields, derivatives, etc. Then situation questions, e.g. how we would react if something happens, etc. The recruiters were young, no eye contact, they would look down at their writings/ notes and tick correct answers. That is unacceptable. In my opinion, the interview went well, however I didn't get through to the next stage.
