I started by uploading the cover letter and the CV to the platform. It all started with them sending a mail saying that I passed the screening process and they assigned a specific person of HR that would be in charge of me.
The first phase was about doing a set of different tasks, that in total would last around 4 hours. Those are in their platform and are about logical thinking and sometimes maths. They say they do that because they need to evaluate how you solve problems if they're not on the same line as your profession.
You can complete the tasks within 10 days, so you don't have to do everything the same day.
I have to say the process is pretty fast, for me everything happened in one week and a half.
I have to say that even though I didn't pass that phase of the tasks, this is the most decent recruitment process I have been in. They explain practically everything in a way that you don't have any doubt, and if you have one, then you can write to the person they assign and will get a really fast response.
Well done, Bending Spoons, I really hope I can work with you one day.

Interview
More than 5 rounds of online exercises, 2 rounds of interviews with their HR interns that they wanted to train and used my time to do so. They were the ones that approached me at the beginning to apply, and when I opted out of the process they insisted that I continued because they liked my CV. And after all of this... they rejected me.
High-difficulty brain-teaser questions and logical puzzles that had nothing to do with the role I applied for and wanted to test "the way you think". Probably, the 10th stage of the process would be to take me on a boat, leave me on the Nemo ocean point and test which direction I would choose to swim in order to save myself.
Generic feedback in an email form after many rounds. Very unprofessional overall.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bending Spoons (Milano) in May 2025
