The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Apple in May 2024
Interview
Honest the worst interview experience ever - I got ghosted halfway through the interview without a clear explanation after they told me I'm moving forward with the interview.
The total interview has 5 rounds: recruiter, hiring manager, team 1:1 then a final round of a presentation with panel. The first 3 rounds took about a month and a half (one round every two weeks). The recruiter reached out right after my 3rd round to schedule my next round, but after I sent back my availabilities they never confirmed a time again despite weeks of follow-ups. The recruiter kept saying they were looking for a time then stopped responding after 4/5 weeks.
Honestly, it's a huge disappointment given Apple was my top choice and the whole thing dragged on for almost three months. It would be understandable if they had changed the hiring plan or changed their mind about my case but there was never clear communication.

Also during the interview, 3 people asked the same question in 3 separate calls which I thought was a bit unusual - like the hiring team wasn't fully prepared or synced ahead.

Question 1
Mostly behavioral questions and thoughts about the industry
Exhaustive process, the recruiter and the timeline was 3 months long without a proper clarity on where am I heading in the process. Overall good experience with the teams and they are pretty nice.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Reached out by HR for initial screening by HM. Interviewed with HM for 30 mins. Brief intro followed by questions on background & the work I have done and the product I have launched. Career trajectory
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apple (New York, NY) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very thorough and technical. It’s a highly competitive process for PMs so have strong POVs for product roadmap that are relevant to Apple with insight into Dev knowledge as well. This is on par with other FAANG companies, and I suggest have a POV prepared on growing and scaling with AI.
