I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Apple (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2021
Interview
The process was initiated by a recruiter. It initially involved a screening, discussing some of the key points of the role and exploring my interests and experiences. The next round was an interview with the hiring manager. The final round was stated to be a panel interview with piers of the hiring manager. The second round did not include any questions. Primarily the hiring manager told me about the role. It felt as though they had already identified their ideal candidate and were following up on already scheduled interviews.
Several layers of interviews beginning with HR, individual, panel, and presentation. There was nothing special or different than many companies are now using - the process takes over a month.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
Mostly just asked questions of background. Not too technical mostly just to see if experience matches, a few role related questions. Tried to match up role responsibilities with experience you had across jobs, just verify experience and a couple questions on how to handle challenges.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Apple
Interview
Two half hour phone interviews and then a full day of interviews with 6-10 people in person. Some were with 2 people and some were 1:1. One guy just gave me a tour because he knew how long those days were and he just wanted to give me a chance to get some air and exercise.
