Interview
I interviewed at Appirio in october 2019, the process took 20 days. I applied online, there were total 4 rounds. It was total wastage of time there management is very bad, they totally spoiled my time and the output is nothing. First round was screening telephonic interview in which they judge your communication skill and 2,3 round was technical round after that they gave me positive feedback that ur rounds have been cleared and you need to come for joining within 3 to 4 days and asked me to give one last round that was hr round in which they asked 3 questions 'tell me about yourself', 'why Appirio ',' why do you want to be in this field', Which was only for 5 minutes. In all these rounds they don't give you any feedback until you will not ask them and when you ask them they will give you positive response as happened to me and at last they will give you fake reason for not hiring u as they gave to me that 'my communication is not good' that means they ultimately blame you for this, If my communication was not good then why have you consider me for further 3 rounds though the first round that was screening was just to check your communication because in that round they asked me to 'introduce myself' and one basic question 'what is oop'. So don't trust and waste ur time on such interview s because they are confuse in themselves and don't even know what they really want.It was really a very bad experience for me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Appirio (Noida) in Aug 2019
Interview
Got a call from HR (RS) on 8th August for the opening of Digital custom app developer at Appirio, Noida. He briefly discussed the role and JD. I discussed my expected salary with him and asked him to get an approval from business on the same before proceeding for the interview. In evening he called me and said business has agreed to the salary.
On 10th August I went to Holiday Inn, Noida for the F2F interview. 1st round was conducted within 15 mins of arrival and the interviewer asked basics of React, Node and couple of mobile application use cases. It went well and they asked me to wait for the next round.
2nd round was a mixture of technical and managerial and was taken by a member of leadership team based out of Jaipur. It went well and he asked me to take one round with onshore architect in weekdays. Then a short HR discussion was done and they asked me to leave for the day as they will schedule next interview in weekdays.
Next interview was on 21st August with onshore Tech Lead and it went smooth. On 22nd August I called HR and asked for the feedback he said it’s positive and they are working on designation, band as my expected salary is on a higher side. Again, I had a word with HR on 7th September and he said he has not yet received approval on salary so cannot proceed further.
Appirio was once used to be a paymasters but after Wipro took it over it has become another Indian company who wants to hire good candidates but doesn’t have money to pay. Usually companies blacklist candidates but in my case I will never think of giving interview at Appirio or Wipro again as it’s just a wastage of time and resources.
Advise to others:
In case your expected CTC is more than experience * 1-1.5 then don’t waste your time by giving interview at Appirio or Wipro.
