Had two rounds phone interview. First round with the direct hiring manager, and 2nd round with a senior manager in the team. Interviews focused exclusively on situational questions with zero technical questions. Reading/watching videos on youtube regarding the Amazon interview process is the best way to prepare as all questions were situational questions, and without a single technical question.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Everybody talks about liking innovation, give me an example of innovating at the prior job?
Give me an example of a conflict you had at work and how you resolved it?
Example of when you had to earn customer/stake holder trust?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Jun 2022
Interview
Two phone interviews for separate positions. They focus heavily on Amazon’s leadership principles. Expect 2-3 questions centered around a few of these principles, “tell me about a time when…” Never heard back from the recruiter, despite their “2&5 promise.” No feedback whatsoever. It’s funny to see the inconsistency, even with such limited interaction, by focusing on these so-called principles with a lack of common courtesy. It’s no wonder there’s so many negative reviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Nashville, TN) in Feb 2020
Interview
Initial phone screening with someone in HR to move you to the next step.
Full phone interview with a manager to get more in depth knowledge and set up online questions.
Finally an in person interview with 3 or more people.

Amazon provides multiple questions you may see before the interview and then selects a few.
