I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2015
Interview
The interview process was very casual
If you are confident in an interview setting it will be a breeze
I did a on campus interview through the university and was called the next day for a in person interview the next day.
It consisted of 2 45 minute interviews with two different people and a math solving problem.
The math portion was easy, but I noticed that a lot of other people over thought the problem, just do the math and dont worry about the situation.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
