I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2015
Interview
Contacted by a recruiter through email. I expressed interest and was told to formally apply for a specific position. The next day I was contacted by another recruiter and asked fill out a profile giving my education, location preferences, previously salary, how many people I've managed, what times I am available to interview, ect.
Then I was contacted by a recruiting coordinator who scheduled a phone interview. The interview was completely outside of the times a listed but I adjusted and sent my confirmation email... only to have the interview rescheduled for a week later at the same time.
At the 4pm PST interview time (I am on the East Coast 7pm) I dialed into the interview waiting for someone to join the call.
After 15 minutes I emailed the coordinator to let her know an interviewer has not joined. 18 minutes later at 4:33 pm PST I finally get a Hello, Hello. Followed by an introduction but never an apology.
We both share our background then I am asked a math question followed by 4 situational questions.
The whole interview was rushed. I didn't feel good about the math question but did feel good about the the situational questions.
The interviewer then said we would stop so I had time to ask questions. At the same time others were joining the call because they must have been scheduled at 5pm PST... which would be fine if my interview wasn't 30 minutes late.

Question 1
You have 30 team members working 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week.
2 team members need to be non producing
Your direct rate is 150 hours
There are two 15 minute breaks per day
How many units will your team produce in a 40 hour week?
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
