I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2019
Interview
5 parts of an hour long interview, 4 of them very short and 1 long part.
1) The interviewer briefly introduced themselves.
2) I briefly introduced myself.
3) Looong and boring "Tell me about a time.." questions for almost the entirety of the interview.
4) Easy technical questions that took about five minutes or so.
5) Asked questions for about five minutes to end the interview.
The interviewer put in almost no effort other than introducing themselves and robotically going over the behavioral questions. And I had to have interesting stories in response. Forget it.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you saved the world. No, I mean solved a big problem.
Good experience all around. Never ended up getting hired when I first interviewed. They were fair and let me know some reasons why they didn't. I was also younger and newer to interviewing for companies.

Very long process with a lot of prior preparation needed, lots of behavioral questions and scenarios, multiple days and still after all of that you get a rejection with zero feedback.
