I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Singapore) in Sep 2018
Interview
First Round with HR. Behavioral questions and Introductions. The HR asks you to fill a sheet with information prior to the interview. Standard Behavioural questions for 45 mins. Not much time for you to ask questions.
The second round was with the Hiring Manager. The manager arrived late to the interview and was inaudible. The manager and was totally unpolished, unprofessional and made some crass remarks about how my name sounded. Out of the 45 mins, 35 mins was spent discussing the certifications and when I started a particular degree and when I completed it. That left hardly any time for any interview questions that would add value to the process. I only heard comments that there was no career path and the limited budget to work with so it may not be a great opportunity. If interviews were marketing touch points, based on this interaction, I am praying I never get selected to the next rounds.
The first step, the virtual interview process, was fairly long but easy to navigate and work through, and shortly after, I received an invite to interview in person. However, the location for which they reached out for was for the wrong state.

Question 1
Manager experience, scenarios where I had to act as a manager
Ghosted me after the interview, and they did not notify me I was no longer under consideration. I manually had to check the job portal to verify job application status after a virtual assessment and interview.
The interview process is very robust. You speak with many different people but they moved quickly. Some questions are out of the box and some are straightforward. Overall it was a good experience.
