I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Aug 2014
Interview
1)Online Aptitude test
Basic Quantitative/Verbal
Logic based Questions
2)Group discussion
This happens sometimes when the volume of applicants is very high. The topics are chosen by the HR rep on the spot, sometimes they get creative and ask the applicants to choose topics ,I guess they look at how we as a group can come to agree on a single topic.
3)HR/Technical Interview
Usually this is held together. The HR rep asked basic questions as to why I chose this company ,while the technical recruiter asked me what all coding languages was I good at.I am an Electrical Engineer so I knew only C.This did not pose as a disadvantage for me since they were looking for candidates who were willing to learn.I mean I clearly stated that I was not trained in any other programming language but I was willing to learn.I guess that statement went in favor for me.
It was very structured. It consisted of 1 round. The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and then asked questions on my resume. They are basically looking for candidates to walk through their resume. They didn't ask any question apart from the resume
The process was 1 online assessment and 1 group interview with 3 panelists. They asked both technical and soft skills questions. Each interviewer asked different questions. The total interview was less than 30 mins.
Interview was nice but it was much technical heavy and the interviewer had asked both the technical and HR related questions and also some general knowledge and current affairs questions.
