Had applied for the campus recruitment drive Accenture conducts, interviewed on campus first round, group case interview second, and then the closing interviews.
Supposedly, a closing interview is meant to be a very relaxed setting with senior management by which point you are already accepted, you just need to meet your group MD/PD. I had three 'closing' interviews. I applied with a focus on FS, had a closing interview with Cloud - which I respectfully said I did not see a fit for and which the MD said was 'fine'. Then I get a closing interview for 'Products' which is essentially retail, which I just accepted and agreed to join. Apparently something didn't work out because even though the MD said the next step was contract signing, i never heard back from them till the NEXT interview invite. This closing interview was for a TECH role that I did not even apply for! And which they cancelled on the day of the interview.
