The interview process was okay I had a first screening round with the recruiter who asked me more about my general background and prepped me for the first round with someone that would be on my team. She emphasized that this is a role that they would like someone to be in long term, and told me the reason that the last person who interviewed didn’t make it because they didn’t believe that they were really interested in the role or being there long term. With that in mind, I prepared a response that catered to what they were looking for for the role and career goals (which did align with my longer term career goals). When I received a call from the recruiter after that first round, she informed me that I didn’t make it to the second round for the same reasons the previous person didn’t that she listed in my initial screening interview.
