I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Jupiter, FL) in Sep 2021
Interview
Came in early morning group interview, and the manager was very personable. Job interview didn't move forward as cashier does have stocking duty and I wasn't capable of that at the time
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How you feel about stocking? What type of scheduling you expect? Why did you pick aldi's to apply to.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at ALDI (Oxon Hill, MD) in May 2023
Interview
The interview process was for a group interview however we were called one by one. I was the first to go and I can say the interview went well. I felt the focus was moreso on your availability rather than skills, and experience
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALDI (Buffalo, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
The interview process is hell on earth. They make you do a group tour of the Aldi and then you come back a second time for an interview. So if you don't get the job you just wasted so much of your time and energy just getting there a second time. Additionally, this location is looking for someone with prior experience at a supermarket BUT they won't say that in the application so they allow people with no experience to apply which just wastes more of your time! They want people who are easily exploitable to work here and the manager here proudly boasted her 1 day of sick time in EIGHT YEARS. That's is NOT something to be proud of 🚩🚩🚩🚩 They act completely oblivious as to why people even want to apply to Aldi's in the first place as if the $18/hr is not incentive enough. They want you to practically BEG then for the job and prove yourself. This is the EXACT reason why there are only 12 employees working here at a time BECAUSE they make it that way.
