1. Intro Virtual - Recruiter screening
2. Technical with two developers
The interview process included multiple remote stages. After an initial screening to review my background and fit for the Sr. Quality Engineer role, I completed a technical panel interview with two senior engineers. They briefly introduced themselves and the project, then walked through scenario-based questions focused on troubleshooting flaky CI pipelines, prioritizing automation for production issues, designing maintainable end-to-end tests, and defining QA reporting/metrics. We also discussed Cypress, their React-based stack, and upcoming challenges. The interview ended with time for my questions about the team, roadmap, and expectations.
