WellD Italia is looking for a Senior Backend developer to join its dev team.

In this role, you will work on a mission-critical project for a global leader in the FMCG industry headquartered in Alba. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the client’s international success and the quality of software solutions used at an enterprise scale. Our office is located in Milan, in the Isola/Garibaldi district. This is a hybrid position: it currently requires being present at the client’s headquarters in Alba for 3/4 days a week. In the future, the frequency of on-site days may decrease, but we will define this as the project evolves. Please note that train and accommodation costs will be covered by the company.

We currently work with Java (BE), Angular (FE) – exploiting git / gitlab and the use of Docker. For this specific position, we need someone with good knowledge of Java and the JVM ecosystem. Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and Angular/Frontend is also valued.

We promote Agile Development with a formal process including Code Reviews, Pair Programming, and Continuous Delivery. We care about software quality, and have a proper methodology / pipeline to assure it is always achieved. We do not just-code-it, we design it.
