THE ROLE
The Neurodevelopmental Disorders Research Unit at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia - IIT (https://www.iit.it/research/lines/neurodevelopmental-disorders), led by Dr. Michael Lombardo, is looking for 1 talented Research Assistant as part of ongoing research understanding multilevel heterogeneity in the autisms.
The research program aims to identify stratification markers that delineate important distinctions within the population of individuals with autism. The work will require successful candidate to aid other lab personnel (PhD students, Post-docs, PI) in actions relevant to the research program’s aims. The laboratory uses multidisciplinary methods such as observation behavioral methods, neuropsychological testing, eye tracking, EEG, MRI, and fMRI.
Successful candidate will work with the PI, other lab members, and international collaborators on a variety of research-focused actions focused on identifying important subtypes of patients with ASD. The main tasks are, but not limited to, recruitment of participants for new scientific studies, collection of research data in experiments that include eye tracking, EEG and fMRI methodologies.
