What is your role?

The role of the Global Purchasing & Sourcing Lead is an international development opportunity for a proven Purchasing professional who wants to build a global career at ITT. The position will require global vision, availability to travel and potentially relocation.

You will support and lead direct and/or indirect purchasing projects, supplier scouting, RFQs, negotiations, cost optimization, supplier performance improvement and cross-functional project execution. The scope and autonomy will grow over time.

• Deliver concrete sourcing and purchasing projects within Motion Technologies (including cross-business initiatives when assigned).

• Support and execute global sourcing strategies across assigned direct and/or indirect categories, aligned with ITT procurement strategy and plant needs.

• Conduct supplier scouting, market analysis, supplier evaluation and qualifications to strengthen the global supply base.

• Run or support RFQs, supplier comparisons, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization to meet cost, quality, delivery, and risk targets.

• Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities through competitive bidding, localization, dual sourcing, value analysis, and supplier productivity initiatives.

• Monitor supplier performance, purchasing metrics, and market trends; provide data-based recommendations to stakeholders.

• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain and Program Management on sourcing, launches, make/buy evaluations and cost improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with ITT purchasing policies, ethical standards, approval flows, and contractual requirements.

• Contribute to the standardization and sharing of purchasing best practices across Motion Technologies

• Provide clear project updates to Motion Technologies Purchasing leadership and present progress to program sponsors or stakeholders when required.

• Travel to plants, suppliers and project locations to build operational understanding and achieve project outcomes.
