Il Ruolo

Come Second Line Support Engineer, ti occuperai di problematiche tecniche complesse che vanno oltre le attività di helpdesk di base, con un focus su sistemi, applicazioni e integrazioni IT. Supporterai clienti in ambito ospedaliero e sanitario, contribuendo a garantire sistemi stabili e sicuri in ambienti mission-critical.

Il ruolo è focalizzato su software, sistemi e integrazioni IT, non su attività hardware o manutenzione operativa sul campo

Questo ruolo è ideale per:

• Professionisti IT con esperienza nel customer care/supporto e solide basi tecniche

• Ingegneri interessati a specializzarsi in software e sistemi per il settore sanitario

• Neolaureati in ingegneria biomedica, ICT o ingegneria del software

Cosa Farai

• Diagnosticare e risolvere problematiche tecniche complesse (principalmente lato software e sistemi) escalation da First Line Support o field engineers

• Lavorare operativamente su ambienti Windows Server, database SQL e integrazioni applicative

• Analizzare problematiche ricorrenti e supportare attività di root cause analysis e soluzioni di lungo periodo

• Registrare, classificare e gestire incidenti e richieste di servizio

• Comunicare in modo chiaro con i clienti, fornendo aggiornamenti e gestendo le aspettative

• Supportare gli SLA e partecipare a turni strutturati di reperibilità e weekend

• Contribuire ad attività proattive per garantire stabilità e continuità dei sistemi

Cosa porti (requisiti essenziali)

• Formazione in ICT, ingegneria del software, ingegneria biomedica o esperienza equivalente

• Esperienza pratica o solide conoscenze di:

  • SQL (troubleshooting e query)

  • Ambienti Windows Server

  • Processi di customer support/helpdesk (preferibilmente su applicazioni/sistemi)

• Comprensione dei principi di sicurezza dei dati

• Capacità di analisi e comunicazione efficace

• Esperienza in contesti ospedalieri o sanitari

• Certificazione ITIL

• Neolaureati con esperienza pratica rilevante

• Interesse per software biomedicali o sistemi clinici

The Role

As a Second Line Support Engineer, you will work on complex technical issues that go beyond basic helpdesk tasks, with a clear focus on systems, applications, and IT integrations. You will support healthcare customers and help ensure stable, secure environments in mission-critical settings.

This is a software, systems, and integration-focused role rather than hardware or field maintenance

This role is ideal for:

• IT professionals with support/customer care experience and strong technical foundations

• Engineers looking to grow into healthcare software and systems

• Graduates in biomedical, ICT, or software engineering

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues (primarily software and system-related) escalated from First Line or field teams

• Work hands-on with Windows Server, SQL databases, and system/app integrations

• Analyze recurring issues and support root cause analysis

• Manage incidents and service requests end-to-end

• Communicate clearly with customers and manage expectations

• Support SLAs and participate in on-call/weekend rotations

• Contribute to proactive system stability and optimisation activities

What You Bring

• Education in ICT, software engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar

• Experience or strong knowledge of:

  • SQL (queries, troubleshooting)

  • Windows Server

  • IT support/helpdesk processes (ideally application/system-driven)

• Understanding of data security principles

• Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Healthcare or hospital environment experience

• ITIL certification

• Relevant internships or hands-on experience

• Interest in clinical or biomedical software systems
