Carlo Ratti Associati (CRA) is an international architecture and design studio with offices in Turin and New York. Founded by MIT professor Carlo Ratti, CRA sits at the intersection of design, technology, and urban innovation, developing projects that range from buildings and public spaces to large-scale urban strategies. The Role
CRA is looking for a motivated Administration & Accounting Intern to join our finance and administrative team. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international studio environment, supporting day-to-day financial operations and administrative processes. We’re looking for someone detail-oriented and proactive, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, multicultural setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general accounting operations.
- Handle domestic and international active and passive invoicing.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with tax deadlines (VAT settlement, Intrastat, recording adjustments, and self-invoices).
- Prepare financial statement data, including adjustment entries and depreciation.
- Oversee administrative activities, including shipments, travel organization, company cards, and cash management.
- Maintain relationships with tax consultants and external advisors.
- Monitor receivables and payments.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Detail-oriented, precise, reliable, and proactive.
