How do you sell training to a prospective training.

You don't. I ask questions about what their goals are and problems reaching their goals. I listen because everyone has a journey and a story. I can relate to most people and their struggles. I explain that the fastest distance between 2 points is a straight line and that working with a trainer is the accountability they need to stay on target and reach those goals. The best investment is in yourself and your health. If you do the work, and listen to your trainer, you will have no regrets.
